Arrogance is probably the trait I most dislike reader. Whether its someone who just thinks they can walk up to the front of a queue or someone such as this guy who seems to think parking here every morning and endangering the lives of nursery and primary school kids is less important than Brushing his damn teeth. I've spoken to this person now on several occasions to point out (as if the signs weren’t clear enough) that he wasn’t under any circumstances allowed to park on the yellow markings.
The first time we spoke he was sat with an electric toothbrush in his mouth. I pointed out the markings..he mumbled and carried on taking care of his dental hygene. Hmmmm
I’ve used a picture taking tactic before with someone else quite effectively, when just saying excuse me but you can’t park there fell on deaf ears a rather obvious display of taking a picture the following day did the trick on the very same markings a few months ago. The next day I concluded that taking the odd picture might spur him into action, you know as he might think “Ok fair enough it’s not exactly police camera action but I get the message”…He obviously didn’t.
So I tried again today asked him if he was so arrogant that parking a few yards down the road away from the nursery gate was beneath him, I enquired if he did actually have a licence to drive and If indeed that licence was issued in the UK. You see the lack of concern for my childs safety and that of the several hundred other children who attend Kates Hill Primary School in Dudley might have suggested to me that he had learning difficulties or perhaps a licence issued in certain other countries may not require the holder to know the meaning of those huge yellow Zig Zag lines painted outside the school gates.
Maybe he hadn’t noticed me taking his picture before so I spelt it out to him again. You cant park there. I will take your picture as evidence. If I need to I will inform the police. The response? Arrogance.
Now I’m mad. If anyone happening to be reading this would like higher resolution, time and date stamped pictures they only need to ask.
